After three years of a secret marriage, Gu Nuan and Lu Jingchen have barely interacted. Then Lu Jingchen's one true love recovers, and he hands Gu Nuan divorce papers. She signs them calmly.
Yet Lu Jingchen keeps cornering Gu Nuan against walls when no one is around, and even bites her lip until it bleeds.
Gu Nuan shouts at him, “Lu Jingchen, we're already divorced.”
Lu Jingchen glares at her with icy eyes. “Gu Nuan, I will have you eventually.”
At last, one day, he gets his wish.
Gu Nuan becomes pregnant with Lu Jingchen's child, but then chooses to disappear for good.
Lu Jingchen thinks she's dead, until one day he sees an adorable child whose features are astonishingly like his own. He loses his mind.
