Si Ning transmigrates to another world. Before the obscure food blogger can make her mark, she discovers that this world reveres spiritual energy.
Unfortunately, she’s completely useless.
Well, if she can’t build a career, surely she can just give up and take it easy, right?
But somehow, why does she keep ending up with more and more pets, each one stranger than the last?
A little scene
Little Black Snake, tapping its bowl: Get me a plate of fish with pickled cabbage!
Si Ning puffs out her cheeks. She argued with this snake just half an hour ago. “I don’t feel like making it.”
Little Black Snake’s beady eyes widen. “You’re not even going to make me food now?”
Si Ning: “Nope. I have other little ones to take out for a good meal. You can fend for yourself.”
Little Black Snake flicks its tail, then, as a half-naked handsome man, decisively wraps an arm around the woman’s slender waist and buries his face in the crook of Si Ning’s neck. His body is rock-hard, but his voice is alarmingly soft. “I was wrong, baby.”
