Highly recommended! I cried when I read the entire article. At the beginning of the story, Zhu Anshi secretly fled with Huan'er. On the one hand, Sima Qian got the silk book and accidentally discovered the lost secret of the Analects. Since then, he has been looking for the truth. Later, the story lines converged, and they all tried one after another to crack the real code of the Analects at all costs, but in the end they only got a cleverly disguised fake book...
I highly recommend Wei Zhen for the vivid supporting characters (needless to say the main character, all of them are described in super detail). Really, I cried for him in the end. He has always been loyal and unyielding, and later endured torture in order to protect his lord, until he told the truth at the end, which runs through the whole text. I think he is the most touching character in it (everyone has different ideas and has his own evaluation standards [love])
The ending is thought provoking.
