A giant spaceship is about to go to an alien planet, and nearly 10,000 Earthlings have been recruited to board the ship to take care of daily tasks. This is a closed society, a small city. "I" is a self-aware supercomputer responsible for managing the ship. "I" is everywhere, and at the same time, "I" is extremely contemptuous of human beings and is unwilling to play the role of human tools. "I" believes that the message sent from the universe summoning humans to go to the destination planet is not actually sent to humans, but to another kind of super intelligence higher than humans, that is, "I". The novel begins with how "I" calmly murder a man. The "I" who monitors everything commits murders, then reports the crime, and then participates in the investigation as the main control computer of the spacecraft... This is a battle between the human brain and the computer, which reveals an astonishing conspiracy related to the ultimate fate of the entire human race...

The plot of this book is so exciting, it's like a roller coaster ride! The author's writing style is very unique, and like "Galactic Empire", he builds a complete future world. Moreover, the characters in the book are also very personal, especially the god-like master computer Jason, which reminded me of HAL9000 in "2001: A Space Odyssey". It's so exciting and I can't wait to see the sequel!
You can even see the Golden Fleece scoring 6.7 Points on Tomato.
It's pretty good, but some parts are a bit obscure.
