[Transmigration + Devoted Husband]
Si Luo has always lived by the belief that “treating the sick and saving lives is a doctor’s duty,” working as an intern at the City People’s Hospital. Just as he is about to become a full-time employee, he faces a life-or-death dilemma: an elderly man suddenly collapses on the street and needs immediate CPR, while a provincial department director suddenly falls ill and needs emergency surgery. Should he stand by and let one die, or arrive late to the surgery?
Naturally, he chooses the former, and is predictably condemned by public opinion. Wracked with guilt, he quits his job and drinks himself into a stupor at a bar. On his way home, he encounters one of the online do-gooders who had slandered him, and is unfortunately shoved into the water.
He thought his life was over, but when he wakes up, he discovers he has become a child, not yet thirteen. A group of maids dressed in ancient clothing call him “Young Master” and say that one day he will become the greatest Medicine Immortal.
So he didn’t just die, he transmigrated too?
He is fortunate enough to find a fiercely loyal bodyguard after transmigrating. The guard is about his age and doesn’t talk much.
Only later does Si Luo learn that the world he has landed in is a chaotic place, overrun by demons and monsters, with a crowd of chattering cultivators everywhere.
Somehow, he also seems to have been dragged into a conspiracy…
Love it to death. Si Luo has a really good character, but the book has a few flaws.
