Heaven's Defender

(Fantasy + immortal cultivation + passionate battles + mystery + scheming protagonist + plot-driven)

People are imperfect, born with an innate streak of depravity. They are blind and follow the crowd; they are selfish and cowardly, calculating and jealous. Though they have goodness in them, it can easily be overwhelmed by wicked thoughts.

Immortals can be humans, demons, ghosts, or devils. As long as they cultivate themselves in accordance with the Heavenly Dao, they can become immortal. The path of cultivation determines whether they become heavenly, demonic, ghost, or devil immortals.

Gods exist only in legend. No one knows why they disappeared.

Yin Shan and Li Daoshi journey through this fantastical world of immortal cultivation. They witness all things under heaven, experience the many facets of life, comprehend the laws of the Heavenly Dao, and glimpse the cycles of fate. Whatever choice they make in the end, it will unfold in the world of Defenders of Heaven.
