I Will Never Regret Protecting Huaxia

Though Guarding Huaxia Without Regret is a humorous, feel-good urban fantasy, it is also a passionate and moving story. Above all, I want to pay tribute to the heroic ancestors who came before us. The story features those who laid down their lives for our people throughout history, heroes who fought floods and earthquakes, the firefighters who died in Liangshan and Tianjin, the pilots who soared through the skies to fight the Japanese invaders, and frontline workers who faced the pandemic without fear. They guarded us without regret. It is thanks to the bravery of these heroes that our people have endured through the ages and that we can live in peace and prosperity today.

Some people are alive, yet dead, while others are dead, yet live on. These heroic ancestors have not truly died. They have simply taken another form and continue to protect us quietly from by our side.

I wrote this book in the hope that everyone will remember them and pay tribute to them.

Please share the stories of the many moving acts of heroism you know, so I can weave them into the novel. Here, I pay tribute to the spirits of those who came before us.
