My Guard Has Designs on Me

(Sweet romance + doted on by everyone + male lead carefully lays his plans + heroine plays hard to get) Su Wanru is the apple of the Su family’s eye. Her parents and four older brothers dote on her endlessly. The Su family motto is: “My little sister is heaven, my little sister is earth, my little sister is the apple of our eye.” One day, Su Wanru rescues a down-on-his-luck young man, who becomes her bodyguard. But the little bodyguard isn’t satisfied, and sets his sights on Su Wanru. One day, the little bodyguard pins her against the wall, his gaze dark and intense. “My lady, what’s so great about Young Master Xiao? Anything he can give you, I can give you too. And anything he can’t give you, I can give you that as well...” Su Wanru takes the lead, lifts the little bodyguard’s chin, and smiles. “Can I have you?” A scheming, domineering hero vs. a sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside heroine. (This novel begins when the leads are children, so the pacing may be a little slow. Both leads have secret identities. After the male lead realizes his feelings for the heroine, he gradually steers her into falling in love with him, never realizing that she’s been playing hard to get all along...)
