Sword Over the Heavens

Traditional fantasy + swordsmanship + an expansive world + a treat for fans of petite heroines [all four female leads have petite builds] + neither the protagonist nor the villains are dumbed down. Infinite worlds, with a fixed main plot. The story is currently in its fourth world, but each world serves the same overarching storyline: fighting aliens (called the Other Races in the book; their main plotline begins taking shape as early as Chapter 12). First World: The Continent of Desolation, starting from Chapter 1. Eastern fantasy, written when the author was still a novice. The story joins the main plot of saving the world from Chapter 12 onward. The main storyline is very clear, though some plot threads were abandoned to move it along. That was because the author wrote some of those parts while in a beginner's overthinking phase, and even the author can't help laughing when reading them now. Second World: The Continent of Swords, starting from Chapter 202. Eastern fantasy that adds to the main storyline. The central plot is still about fighting the Other Races, and the smaller world's ending also features a direct confrontation with them. Still, this can be read as a completely standalone story. It has a very strong narrative and is the best-written world so far, with a thoroughly developed storyline and an even balance between fights and plot. Highly recommended by the author. Third World: The Arcane Continent, starting from Chapter 408. Western fantasy that can also be read as a standalone story. It isn't written very well, so feel free to skip 50 chapters if you don't want to read it; you won't miss much. It mainly adds a delicate, innocent heroine. The main issue was that the world was too small at first and the author was in a hurry to get back to the main plot. Later, an additional major side story set in the main world was added, telling the story of the first generation's war against the Other Races. That part turned out pretty well. Fourth World, currently in development! Stay tuned! The author is proud to say that the power-scaling system in this book is handled exceptionally well! It will never collapse!
