At the end of the Warring States Period, the situation was turbulent. The 17-year-old Li Si did not want to be a rat in the toilet, so he embarked on a study tour in the Jixia Academy of Qi State. He learned from hundreds of schools of thought and met the brave Mao Yuan, the elegant and studious Qing Shu, the talented and free-spirited Ma Shi, and his destined opponent, Han Fei. There are many tests, requiring both mutual cooperation and tit-for-tat confrontation. We meet on a narrow road, who is the one who reaches the top?
The first part of the "Warring States" series, "The Second Chapter of Ji: The First Show of Edge", is officially released!
Reader comments
The writing is really good, the characters are flesh and blood, and the story is exciting enough. In the turbulent era of the Warring States Period, everyone acted towards the morality in their hearts, but some people followed the torrent of the times and moved forward along the trajectory of history. Some people knew that destiny was inevitable, but still devoted themselves to their ideals without hesitation like moths to a flame. The high-spirited teenagers were drifting away under the influence of the times.
Although this book is shown to be finished, the author seems to have said at the end of the first chapter that there are more than four chapters, so can anyone tell me if there will be a follow-up to this book? I look forward to the subsequent stories.
What kind of all-rounder is the author? (Pulls his hair) Oh my God, the writing is so good...
I like Li Si's growth process in the book. I was deeply impressed by his studiousness, wit and courage. This reminds me of Shang Yang in "The Qin Empire". They are all figures who have emerged in troubled times with their own talents and efforts. The description of Jixia Academy in the book is also very attractive, as if it can put me in that era when various schools of thought contended. Looking forward to the development of the story later!
Very good, quite good
Looks good, recommend it
It's very beautiful, the author put great effort into it!
Reading history makes people wise. Beautiful, very beautiful.
The second chapter of Ji Ji is very interesting. A group of geniuses compete with each other. The theory of hundreds of schools of thought is very enjoyable to watch.
