In every dynasty, there have been a few famous mystics of the martial world.

Every region has its own legends too: the Miao people’s gu poison, the shamans of the Northeast, and the Shangqing and Zhengyi Taoists of the South.

But one profession is found across the whole country: yin-yang masters.

No funeral can do without a yin-yang master. They choose burial sites, arrange funerals, select auspicious dates, and lead the funeral procession.

My name is Lin Feng, and I make my living off the dead as a yin-yang master.
