I’m a Tyrant in This Great Song

I’m just a delivery guy. How can you expect me to be emperor?!

Three days after Zhao Ming transmigrates, he’s forced onto the throne. He’s barely sat down when he learns that Great Song is doomed, before he can even enjoy the moment.

It turns out the Retired Emperor has set him up. Handing over the throne is just a way to use Zhao Ming as cover while the old emperor escapes south to live in comfort, taking his consorts, eunuchs, palace maids, three thousand imperial guards, and fifty thousand Divine Martial Camp soldiers with him, after emptying the treasury and looting the palace.

He doesn’t just flee: he leaves the Six Villains in control of the court, stripping Zhao Ming, a puppet emperor, of all real power.

When Zhao Ming learns the truth, he curses out his dear old father. With two Jin armies advancing south and the Six Villains controlling the court, how can he turn things around?

To avoid meeting the same miserable fate as Emperor Qinzong of Song, he’ll become a tyrant in this Great Song dynasty.
