Xunzi

Recently, I have been reminded of a sentence from an old text: A horse can leap but cannot take ten steps; a horse can ride ten steps, but the merit lies in perseverance. For myself, I miss the urge to learn, because I encourage students to read Xunzi, and when I swallow the dates, I feel that every word is precious, and I chew it again and again, which can be used to encourage myself. As the saying goes: If you listen to both sides, you will be enlightened; if you listen to one side, you will be dark. Therefore, you can just listen to your political stance and opinions. The book "Xunzi" reminds me of a friend of mine who always works hard but sometimes is too utilitarian. However, I kind of hated some of the characters in the book, and their behavior was really irritating. But it also gave me a deeper understanding of the complexity of human nature. All in all, this is a great book worth reading!
