In 1637, due to the fierce siege of the Ming army, Zhang Xianzhong accepted the Ming Dynasty's recruitment in Gucheng, Hubei. This book gave me a deeper understanding of history! When I saw the part about Emperor Chongzhen hanging himself, I thought of a friend of mine. He also suffered a big loss because he insisted on going his own way and didn't listen to other people's opinions. And I especially hate Emperor Chongzhen. He clearly had a chance to save the Ming Dynasty, but he ruined the country because of his stubbornness. However, this also reminded me that I should keep a clear head when I am in love, listen to the advice of my relatives and friends, and not go my own way. All in all, this book is well worth reading!
