Chinese Dream - General Secretary Xi Proposed to Achieve the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation

On November 29, 2012, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, and members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli and others came to the National Museum to visit the basic display of "Road to Renaissance". Also participating in the visit were comrades from the Secretariat of the Central Committee such as Zhao Leji, Li Zhanshu, Du Qinglin, Zhao Hongzhu, and Yang Jing. The basic layout of "Road to Rejuvenation" is divided into five parts: China became a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, searching for a path to save the nation, the Communist Party of China shouldering the historical responsibility of national independence and people's liberation, building a socialist new China, and taking the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Through more than 1,200 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics and more than 870 historical photos, the basic display reviews the Chinese people's struggle in humiliation and suffering since the Opium War in 1840 and various explorations to achieve national rejuvenation, especially the glorious history of the Communist Party of China leading the people of all ethnic groups in the country to strive for national independence, people's liberation, national prosperity, and people's happiness.
