Wow, this book "Mother" is really great! Gorky portrayed the role of mother so vividly that I felt her strength and love. I especially hate those bully characters in books, they are really bad! This reminds me of some of the characters in Childhood. "Mother" and "Childhood" are both very in-depth books, allowing us to see different sides of society.
