The Frail Young Master Drops His Act

Qiu Mi, a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, loses her memory and is reborn in the womb as a farmer's daughter. Forced into a proxy marriage, she unexpectedly regains her lost memories. She promptly takes back the bride price and marries the village's notorious sickly invalid in the other woman's place. To her surprise, the so-called invalid is incredibly handsome. Gentle as jade, graceful as an orchid: that describes Rong Xun perfectly. A hopeless pretty-boy admirer, Qiu Mi gazes at her husband with her chin resting in her hands. She watches him drag his poisoned, frail body forward, gasping with every step, as he stands up for her and has her back. Then he turns to comfort her tenderly. Qiu Mi can't take it anymore! She's going to protect this frail young gentleman! She helps him slap down his enemies and heal and recuperate, cherishing him in her hands and worrying that her sickly husband might get hurt. Gradually, Qiu Mi discovers that her gentle, frail husband is actually a wolf in sheep's clothing. And once his true nature is exposed, he stops pretending entirely, making no effort to hide his obsessive, possessive side! “My dear, you'll never leave me in this life.” Qiu Mi laughs. “Hey, what are you saying? How could I ever leave you...” Help! Why is this wolf in sheep's clothing of a husband kind of irresistible?
