Does everything return to nothingness when a person dies?
No! That’s not true.
The body decays after death, but consciousness does not vanish.
As the saying goes:
Fallen blossoms are not heartless things; they turn into spring mud to nourish the flowers.
That is the destiny of plants.
And the destiny of humanity is the same!
After death, a person’s consciousness breaks down into countless fragments, which drift at random through the space where we live.
Some are absorbed by new human lives, giving rise to the idea of reincarnation.
Some are absorbed by animals, granting them a spark of awareness.
Most, however, simply continue to drift through the space around us.
By a twist of fate, the protagonist of this story acquires an ancient method for cultivating consciousness. He can absorb the consciousness particles in the surrounding space and make them his own, opening the door to an entirely new world.
