A Science Student in the Late Ming Dynasty

[Transmigration] + [System] + [Stratagems and conquest in a turbulent age]

In the waning years of the Ming Dynasty, internal strife and external threats abound. Peasant uprisings rage, the Dutch colonize, Qing forces march south to breach Shanhai Pass, and the Mongol Khanate and Yarkand Khanate beyond the pass look on hungrily.

A modern science student transmigrates into this era, thinking he can use his knowledge to live comfortably in luxury. Instead, he arrives as a deserter in the middle of a war, with enemies closing in from both sides.

Just then, a robotic voice rings out: “Congratulations! You've activated the System for Conquering a Turbulent Age. Build an empire of your own!”

“Hey, I'm about to die here! Why the hell are you yapping, System? Save me first!”
