Forty-seven items in total. This book seems to be imitated from "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". "However, it is as simple as the mountains and rivers, but as detailed as foreign objects" (Lu Xun's "A Brief History of Chinese Novels"), and the text is not as simple as "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". The book preserves many myths and legends, especially the records about Dongwanggong, Qiongqi, Kunlun Tianzhu, Fusang Mountain Jade Chicken, etc., Which are precious mythological materials.
