Zhou Mengyao’s Choice: Li Yifan and the Squirrel Kingdom

Every generation has its own mission. Five little spirits from Squirrel Kingdom are sent on a quest to find the Immortal Fruit. However, the fruit cannot be identified before it transforms into a human at the age of eighteen; it can only be found after that.

One of the spirits, Zhou Mengyao, falls in love with an ordinary young man named Li Yifan. But the boy she thought was ordinary turns out to be anything but: he is the Immortal Fruit, the very thing that allows Squirrel Kingdom to survive. The kingdom needs to drain the fruit of its immortal power, but once that power is gone, its physical body will disappear too. As an agent tasked with carrying out the mission, how will Zhou Mengyao choose between Li Yifan's life and the fate of Squirrel Kingdom?
