A Night Parade of Ghosts: The Demon Child and Spirit Infant

Everyone knows about the shamanic magic of the Northeast, but few realize that folk traditions in the Guanzhong region, especially its western reaches, also include widely practiced secret arts. Common examples include Lu Ban techniques, village-blasting rituals, I Ching divination, spirit-summoning, and Daoist secret arts. This book tells the story of Qin Liuyang, once an ordinary person, who was accidentally possessed by a hundred ghostly spirit infants. Even as a young child, he could command all kinds of spiritual power, and he repeatedly helped his grandmother deal with strange hauntings and other supernatural events. Carefully trained by his grandmother, the blind old woman, who was an expert in secret arts, along with his uncle Sun the Carpenter, Wang the Butcher, and a lame Daoist, he gradually grows into a Guan school master who fights for justice and rids the world of evil.
