The Uncanny Confucian Immortal

In this world, every path can lead to cultivation. Once ordinary people embark on the path, they are called cultivators. A cultivator's sea of qi gives birth to their own innate object, which corresponds to their Dao.

Some take an unconventional path, with a sword as their innate object and the dazzling Sword Dao as their path. Some enter the Dao through the zither, with a zither as their innate object and the ethereal Sound Dao as their path. Others gather baleful energy into a blade, with a saber as their innate object and the slaughter-focused Saber Dao as their path...

After Li Mobai embarked on the path, an archaic stone door engraved with flowers from the Other Shore appeared directly in his sea of qi. A gloomy, ghost-ridden place lay beyond it, like hell itself.

Li Mobai: "..."

Wait, wasn't I a Confucian cultivator? Shouldn't the Confucian Dao produce an innate object like a book or a brush?

What the heck is this door?
