I Want to Lie Flat, but I Send the Empress a Love Letter from the Start

Jiang Fan transmigrates into a fantasy world and, from the start, sends the Female Emperor a love letter. To his surprise, he ends up as the empire’s market regulation envoy.

If he wants to lie flat and enjoy himself in the Female Emperor’s palace, he’ll have to purge the emperor’s court and improve the people’s livelihoods.

It isn’t until he sees the empire’s territory stretching to the edge of the sea that Jiang Fan finally understands.

“I became the Emperor’s consort so I could live off her. How did that turn into me ruling from behind the curtain?”
