Ning Wan Ge transmigrates to the state of Nanyue, a country never recorded in history. When she wakes up, she finds she’s expecting a baby, and there’s also a battle-hardened prince, disfigured and confined to a wheelchair. The prince apologizes and tells her he knows she was forced to obey his father’s decree. He asks her to rest and take care of the baby in his residence, keeping the title of his princess consort for now. When the time is right, he’ll let her go. Ning Wan Ge raises an eyebrow. The prince’s heart tightens. Thinking he’s gone too far, he’s about to say more when she exclaims, “Good heavens, what an adorable little angel you are! I couldn’t have dreamed up anything this wonderful.”
A few months after the baby is born, the prince finds that the child looks more and more like him. As it happens, Ning Wan Ge now has the chance to leave. The prince holds the baby and gazes at her with the same aggrieved expression. Ning Wan Ge takes a deep breath and turns back into the room. That night, the prince has a dream. In it, Ning Wan Ge picks him up and laughs mischievously.
It's nice to watch, but there are some holes that haven't been filled in yet. You can open a few extra episodes to fill them in 😘
