I Vanished for Three Years, and My Girlfriend Has My Memorial Portrait on Display

Ye Yu has spent three years working under an assumed name, dedicating himself to scientific research as a national treasure. Secretly summoned to a remote mountain range in the northwest to develop a new stellar engine, he works on a project of the highest secrecy. Three years later, having temporarily completed his research assignment, Ye Yu returns to the city and happens upon an adorable little girl. “Mister, you look just like my dad!” After years spent poring over blueprints and working with technology, Ye Yu feels something soft stir in his heart. “And where is your dad?” The little girl blinks. “My dad passed away...” Feeling sorry for her, Ye Yu offers to take the girl home. But when he opens the door, he’s stunned. Hanging on the wall is his own memorial portrait! Wait, isn’t the woman in the photo beside it his ex-girlfriend, Bingbing?
