So Dragons Really Do Exist

Legend has it that in ancient times, the continent was home to countless civilizations and races, the mightiest of them all being the dragons. But as time passed, an ancient war broke out! The dragons spent every last bit of their strength defending their homeland against evil invaders, preserving only a single wisp of dragon soul. Thus, an entire civilization fell. Yet as human civilization rose, no one remembered how the dragons had once defended the continent. Their will was gradually forgotten, and people came to believe that dragons were merely creatures of legend. No one passed down the story of how the dragons had fought to their last breath to protect the continent. Now, even the last wisp of dragon soul is about to be spent.
