Taro Balls in the Mortal World

The hero falls in love at first sight, while the heroine falls for him over time.

[Older woman/younger man romance + seemingly sweet puppy-like hero with a surprising side + no melodramatic misunderstandings + leads who speak their minds + sweet romance]

The day Jiang Yu reported for duty, he took one look at Qiao Yuanyuan and decided what he wanted for the rest of his life. Summoning the fearless courage of youth, he went to confess his feelings, only to be rejected.

Qiao Yuanyuan had been an orphan since childhood. Unable to imagine what her future might hold, she had never made plans for a partner, either. She didn't want to, or perhaps didn't dare to, start a relationship, so she turned down countless people. She thought her life would always be this way. But years later, when she met someone like him again, he laid his burning heart before her, and she hurt him twice.

For the first time, Qiao Yuanyuan felt pity for a man. As she looked into Jiang Yu's tear-filled eyes, she suddenly thought he seemed rather pitiful, like an abandoned puppy, helpless and aggrieved.

She decided to give herself a chance, and to give him one, too.
