"A Brief History of the Zhuang Ethnic Group" is one of the "Our Guangxi" series of large-scale comprehensive publishing projects, and was written to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As a scholar who has studied national history for a long time, I feel that it is my unshirkable responsibility to organize, compile, and widely disseminate the history of the Zhuang people. Therefore, I received an invitation from Guangxi Publishing and Media Group to write "A Brief History of the Zhuang Nationality", and even though time was tight, I accepted the order with great enthusiasm. According to the planning of the series, this book mainly uses the latest archaeological data from the perspectives of ethnology, anthropology, history, archaeology, etc., And absorbs the new results of Zhuang studies in recent years. It strives to comprehensively and systematically introduce the historical origins, regional distribution, social organization, production methods, architectural forms, living customs, language, literature and art of the Zhuang people with detailed and accurate historical materials, concise and clear structure and popular text, so that readers can have a clear and complete understanding of the historical and cultural aspects of the Zhuang people.

This book "A Brief History of the Zhuang Nationality" is really good! It is like a "story book" of the Zhuang people, telling the history and culture of the Zhuang people. The content in the book is very comprehensive, from the Paleolithic Age to the era of regional ethnic autonomy, which gave me a clearer understanding of the development of the Zhuang ethnic group. Especially when I saw the part about the Tusi era, I felt like I had traveled back in time and saw the life and struggles of the Zhuang people. I think this book is not only suitable for people who are interested in the history of the Zhuang people, but also for friends who want to understand the culture of ethnic minorities.
