Hu Jia Jiang: Youth Edition

"Hujiajiang", also known as "Shuohu Quanzhuan", tells the story of the loyalty and traitor struggle between Huyan Pixian's family and Pangji's family during the reign of Emperor Renzong of Song Dynasty. The book narrates that during the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty, King Zhongxiao Huyan Pixian, the son of the founding father Huyanzan, was framed by Pang Ji, the father of Concubine Pang, the empress of the West Palace. Renzong was ignorant and killed more than 300 members of the Humen family. His two sons, Huyan Shouyong and Huyan Shouxin, survived. Hu Yanshouyong fled to the village of Runan, a descendant of the famous general Wang Gui. Wang Runan betrothed his daughter Jinlian to him. Later, Hu Yanshouyong rushed to the New Tang Dynasty to move troops for revenge. On the way, he met the rescued girl Zhao Fengnu and her brother and sister-in-law Zhao Huchen and his wife, and they fell into the mountain stronghold. Huyan Shouxin fled to Xiqiang and married Qi Yue'e, the daughter of Qi Guobao, the owner of Tianding Mountain Village. Year after year, the four tigers of the Pang family are constantly chasing him. The eight kings met with the Holy Spirit and received the order to eradicate the traitors. The descendants of Huyan led their troops into Guanzhong and reached the royal city. Renzong dismissed Pang Ji from his official position and consecrated Concubine Pang to death. The Hu family generals wiped out the Prime Minister's Mansion and killed Pang Ji to take revenge. Renzong issued an edict to rebuild the Humen Sheng Mansion and offer sacrifices to the tombs to appease the loyal soul. There are also many stories about the generals of the Hu family that have been circulated among the people, such as the rap books "Hu Yanqing Da Lei", "Golden Whip", "Rou Qiu Tomb" and so on. The version published this time was engraved in the 44th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1779). For the convenience of readers, it was slightly edited during publication.
