Bianjing Ten-Day Crisis

In the second year of Jingkang, the Jin people captured Bianzhou City, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, through the second siege of Bianjing, and captured the two emperors Hui and Qin and the entire royal family. The Zhao and Song dynasties faced the crisis of national annihilation. Wu Ge, the commander of the city guard, accidentally discovered that Emperor Huizong, who had left the city and surrendered, was pretending to be someone else. The real Huizong was still in the capital. In order to rescue the real Emperor Huizong from the city, Wu Ge and his brothers were involved in overt and covert battles with the second marshal of the Jin Kingdom, the Kaifeng Prefecture, the Imperial City Department, and the Baohe Army who had surrendered to the Jin. In the end, they succeeded in sending Emperor Huizong out of Bianjing after paying a heavy price, but faced an unexpected ending.
