See how Jiang Qiqi, in a feudal era, uses her wits to keep both her former husband and her current partner in line. Perhaps life was simply too easy for Jiang Qiqi during an age of raging war. Shielded by her family, she spent years living like a pampered heiress: spoiled and prone to tears. But good fortune does not last forever, nor does a safe haven. Eventually, her father is targeted while doing business with certain people and has no choice but to send his daughter to military school. Yet on her way back to headquarters after training, she meets with an accident. From then on, it seems she is destined to lose the good life she once knew... (This is more or less an alternate-history story and may not be historically accurate. The focus is on the plot.)
The plot has ups and downs, and there's nothing bloody about having to tie them together.
There are many short stories, the pace is fast, and many emotions are over before they are developed. The description is not detailed enough. But I quite like this book.
