Reader comments
This book is divided into four chapters, each chapter is a story, an experience, a piece of music...
The first chapter is Elio's father's second relationship, which is joyful and passionate. Both father and Elio have found the rhythm of their own lives...
The second chapter is about Elio finding someone like Oliver, who has the same hobbies, understands each other's hearts, and finds and interprets their cadenza...
The third chapter is about bidding farewell to Michael and embarking on a journey to find Oliver. As Elio himself said, he met many people, many women and more men. It was these people who composed the capriccio in Elio's life...
Chapter 4 is about going back to the beginning with Oliver, looking for those years and times lost in time, looking for the previous relationship, looking for him...
Each story seems independent but is actually coherent. Just like the protagonists Elio and Oliver, they are independent individuals in life. Each has his own career and family. Oliver also has his own marriage and lovely children. Emotionally, they are closely connected to each other and integrated into one...
Although time cannot be defeated and cannot be moved by time, each other misses their own lives, and there is no possibility of being together. Fortunately, they both carry feelings for each other in their hearts, so I wish them well in their own worlds!

In fact, after watching "Summer Finale", I couldn't wait to find the sequel and read it. When I first started watching it, I found that the storyline was not what I imagined. I even began to wonder if I had made a mistake. Later, I discovered a wonderful idea. The sequel is presented from the perspective of different people. It is very novel. Although it is not as perfect as the first work, it is like a spring breeze blowing across the lake, calm and beautiful.
The sequel to "Summer Finale" is very touching.
After many vicissitudes of life, two people who love each other meet again.
This story made me understand a completely different life experience. No matter what our age, our determination to find love will never change. Everyone in the story is very courageous. This is the part that moved me the most. The ending is incomparable to the Italian summer love, but it is enough. No one can destroy the happy and sad parts of this story. I can't understand the meaning of some words in the book, but I will review them in my spare time and understand them again. This is my favorite story I have read so far. I will take the courage this book gives me and find the chapter of my life in the years to come. There will always be some indescribable power secretly growing in my heart.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! After 20 years, he finally died, and that summer ushered in a new beginning
No matter how far apart they are and how many centuries span, people who love each other will eventually find each other... No matter what the ending is, they will eventually face it together and reopen the future they still hope to explore together after 20 years [Love]
Will there be a third part? Maybe it would be better without it, leaving some room for readers' expectations.
Oliver said: I will never forget it in my life: on November 17th of every year - my birthday (Elliot)
Two people in love, across time and distance, rush to each other without hesitation
I couldn't understand it at first. Is the protagonist Elio, his father, or another stranger? [Cry][cry][cry]
Compared to the first one, I don't understand this one a bit, but I know that I finally got the hang of it.
The writing is beautiful and artistic, and the emotions are delicate and contagious. As a sequel to Summer Finale, this book does make up for its regrets, but I think overall it is still slightly inferior to Summer Finale. But still worth reading
This love that spans time, I think about it for a long time. No matter how many people I like, I will only think of you. I just love you, I just like you.
This emotion becomes so pure. I unconsciously think of you. Just a wall alone can make me enjoy hours of memories in one night, just like that night on the beach.
This relationship is hard-won and has broken many people's hearts.
I left you the summer, and lost you in the spring. So
I plan to look for you next spring with your love
This book reminded me of my youthful days and that first heart-pounding feeling. The emotional descriptions in the book are very delicate and made me feel the same way. The author Andre Aciman really understands the reader's heart, and he uses words to perfectly present that delicate emotion. I can't wait to go see the movie, I believe the movie will be even more exciting!
What good is a map if you know the destination?
If the ship breaks down, what's the use of going ashore?
If the door is open, what good is the key?
Even after 20 years, my heart still belongs to you.
That summer still belongs to us.
Each story describes a love that is unforgettable for a lifetime.
Elio, please don't be trapped in that midsummer anymore
I would rather elio walked out...
It's okay. I watched it relatively quickly. I wonder if it can be considered a happy ending (I feel the openness of foreigners again)
It doesn't matter if it's be or he. When I opened this book, I felt it was worth it [shy]
My twenty years were like a walking zombie
The writing is smooth and natural, with no lag at all. The two-way secret love pulls to the extreme. After reading it, I want to give myself amnesia and read it again😭😝❤️
