He had no guilt and blamed the female protagonist for letting him have sex after drinking. He also has a mistress, and he turns a blind eye when the mistress provokes the heroine. The mistress aborts the child on her own. The hero blames the heroine for being vicious. He seems to have lived with the mistress before they were divorced.
