Shi Yu was an easygoing little immortal. When the Jade Emperor assigned her to serve in the mortal realm, she saw how effective prayers at a temple were and decided to try one herself. She prayed to see the little immortal who had given her freedom. As if someone were playing a joke on her, she had a dream in which she met that little immortal and began a love affair that came to nothing. When she awoke, Shi Yu was heartbroken. She resolved to return to Heaven and meet the immortal who had created that dream for her.
