Edgar Snow used the Long March and the revolutionary youth's rush to Yan'an as examples to support this conclusion. He pointed out that the Long March was not a failure, but in any case it was a strategic retreat, and a "retreat that could destroy morale." However, with the painstaking efforts of Mao Zedong and the Party Central Committee, the Long March turned into a "victorious march with high morale." Yan'an became the symbol and center of anti-Japanese resistance and national rejuvenation, and became the second largest city in politics. Millions of passionate young people broke through the Kuomintang's blockade and rushed to Yan'an. This kind of achievement of winning and uniting people's hearts is rare in modern Chinese history.
To achieve victory in China's revolution and construction, we must "unify" and "unify" the hearts of all people at home and abroad. There are two different aspects of uniting people's hearts.
