Forty Famous Chiefs of Staff Around the World

In ancient times, the chief military adviser was known as a “strategist” or “military counselor,” and was even called a “god of wisdom.” In modern society, such people are known as think tanks or “walking encyclopedias.” Throughout history, their resourcefulness has earned them people’s admiration and respect.

Studying and learning to develop the wisdom and ability of a chief military adviser can help one devise strategies from behind the scenes and secure victory from a thousand miles away on the battlefield. In peacetime, it may help one achieve economic success, make major scientific and technological breakthroughs, produce outstanding cultural works, or easily defeat competitors in one’s industry.
