[Strong female lead, no CP, quick transmigration + supernatural + System, the heroine shines on her own.]
Zheng Xie is just like her name suggests: a little wicked. She’s cold by nature and crazy in everything she does. An orphan, she was neither loved by her adoptive mother nor cared for by her adoptive father.
The only bright spot in her life was the childhood sweetheart she’d known since she was little! [This story has no male lead.]
After accidentally binding herself to a System called “Glutton,” she gets drawn into the work of a judge of the dead. Sometimes she redresses ghosts’ grievances; other times, she fights them.
She travels through different worlds: a schoolgirl who dies a sudden and tragic death in modern society; a valiant female general who falls on the battlefield in a feudal dynasty that favors men over women; the downfall of a generation’s overlord in a cultivation world overrun by demons; a red-clad beauty who dies in the war between gods and demons…
She unexpectedly meets a group of like-minded companions, and their bond, forged through life and death, brings them together again and again across lifetimes.
Zheng Xie thinks she’s an outsider watching the whole game unfold, never realizing she’s one of the players herself.
The truth behind the divine and demonic rebellion a thousand years ago is about to come to light.
Watching everything unfold before her, Zheng Xie can only ask: What gods? What demons? What monsters? What ghosts?
If they want to make her a pawn in their game, they must be dreaming!
Zheng Xie was born to defy the forces of evil!
The writing is quite good. The heroine is rational and calm, affectionate and ruthless. The key point is that there is really no emotional drama, and there is no ambiguous partner (I saw that there is no one here, and I don't know if there will be any later). It's just that the timeline of the first world is a bit long and feels a bit tedious. Maybe I've watched too much of Fast Time Travel. Overall it's pretty good.
I really like the heroine who has brains, she is strong and mysterious, I finally see a heroine who doesn't rely on the male protagonist
I really like this book, the character of the protagonist, and her strategizing
So this one has CP??? Wouldn't it be okay if I didn't?
