Surviving and Seeking Shelter at the End of the World

Meteorites fell from beyond the heavens, and the living dead spread across the globe overnight. Humanity became twisted, morality collapsed, and the world teetered on the brink of ruin. Then a white figure appeared in the sky. Who is this person, or whatever they are? Is there a connection between the apocalypse and the white figure?

The main cast faces the apocalypse in the early part of the story, then cultivates immortality later on.
