Mr. Chang Shuhong's protection of Dunhuang is truly admirable. His resolute protection of Dunhuang cultural relics and murals under tremendous pressure and difficult environment is something that ordinary people cannot do. The discussion of art in Chapter 4 is a bit difficult for me. The other parts are very helpful in understanding the process of Dunhuang protection and restoration. During this process, many people, including Mr. Chang Shuhong, made arduous efforts. The protection and restoration of the Dunhuang Grottoes murals in the difficult environment must have relied on extraordinary perseverance and infinite love for Dunhuang.

This book resonated with me very much, like chatting with a friend. The conversation between Mr. Chang Shuhong and Mr. Daisaku Ikeda gave me a deeper understanding of Dunhuang art. The dedication and social responsibility they talked about also reminded me of the relatives and friends around me who silently contribute to their families and society.
