This Master Takes No Disciples

[Traditional fantasy + no System + lighthearted comedy + youthful passion]

“My grandfather was ambushed by his enemies and died! Before he passed, he wanted to entrust me to you and ask you to take me as your disciple, so I can learn martial arts and avenge him!”

Lu Qian thinks, Am I really this unlucky?

I came here to ask for a master today too. How did I fail to find a powerful patron and end up saddled with an extra burden instead?

I already have enemies whose identities are a mystery. If I take on a disciple too, even ten of me wouldn't be enough to withstand their blades, would they?

Lu Qian looks up, about to refuse.

“I...”

The girl has bright eyes, pearly teeth, and a lovely oval face.

“I accept.”
