My Utterly Ordinary Working Life in Jixia

A college student in the modern day smashes his phone in frustration during a ranked match. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the sky! Then, in the blink of an eye, he lands in the world of Honor of Kings. Unable to use magic or martial arts, this utterly ordinary engineering student can only take an equally ordinary job. But the gears of fate turn, drawing him ever deeper into the continent's secrets. Characters who differ from the game's portrayals, entirely unfamiliar new characters, and a strange plot: could the game world outside be getting version updates too? And who is he...?

This story is a reimagining based on the background lore of Honor of Kings. All the confusion will eventually be resolved, and every relationship that seems unrelated will be connected one by one.
