The Rubbing Master: Nine Empty Skies, Emperor of the Underworld

There is a folk saying: “Be born in Suzhou or Hangzhou, and be buried at Beiman.”

In feng shui, Beiman Mountain is considered the heart of China's dragon vein. Wealthy merchants, celebrated writers, generals, ministers, and emperors of ancient times all flocked to the mountain, seeing burial there as the ultimate goal in life.

This earthen mountain stretches for hundreds of miles and rises more than two hundred meters, yet it holds tens of thousands of tombs, large and small, including over a hundred imperial mausoleums. With so many graves, strange happenings abound.
