This trial is just a formality.” Before long, Weikun returned with news that he had failed the trial. In the end, the Buddha sent Weikun to the Blood Sea to redeem the demons. The immortals of the Celestial Realm spread yet another rumor: “The demons in the Blood Sea are too wicked. Only a prodigy like Lord God Weikun could redeem them.” Soon after, news spread across the six realms that the demons had escaped the Blood Sea and Lord God Weikun had been banished to the mortal world. At long last, the immortals of the Celestial Realm said: “No more rumors. We’ve never gotten one right.”
