After I Transmigrated, the Laid-Back Empress Refused to Fight for Favor

[Strong female lead + no romance + plenty of male and female supporting characters + strong women = a fun mix] She transmigrates and unexpectedly becomes empress? Think she'll settle for being a helpless flower clinging to a tree? No. Jiang Zhao'an refuses to be a typical heroine.

She makes the consorts study, telling the emperor that it's so they can keep him company, reciting poetry beneath the flowers and moonlight. Yan Yusheng asks, “Do you need to read The Art of War to enjoy a moonlit date?”

She wants to reform the civil service, develop the economy, and establish compulsory socialist education. The emperor says, “Are you crazy? The treasury doesn't have that much silver!”

She assigns duties in the harem: “We’ll make labor-based distribution the main system while allowing other forms of distribution to coexist. Do a good job and you’ll get a bonus; do a good job and you’ll get promoted. Aren’t you touched?”

The consorts: We wouldn’t dare be touched.
