It is different from the author's other works. There are no various twists and turns, which makes people speculate. It just describes the difficult life of a criminal's family. After reading "The Letter", I immediately thought of "Malice" and "The White Bird and the Bat". I think these three books are different from other suspenseful reasoning stories. "The Letter" uses a story to profoundly reflect the thousands of "discriminators" in reality. The discrimination here is more biased towards the subjective reflection of people's subconscious. I think it is more about respect, so that it will not be so difficult for them to live in the "discrimination" environment that has been enveloped. ; In "Malevolence", people who are kind to themselves will be malicious. It may be just for a moment or an occasional thought, but it does not develop into a murder in the story; in "White Bird and Bat", the suspect's son and the victim's daughter can put aside their barriers in their hearts (the word may be a bit inappropriate) to find the murderer together in order to find the truth. This is also a new highlight. Some books need to be read several times and thought about from different angles, in order to get closer to what the author wanted to present to the readers when writing the book.

From the perspective of Takeshi and Naoki, it is quite difficult to choose, but things have happened and cannot be changed. It depends on what the living people do... Impulse is the devil, and mistakes made by impulse have a great impact on the victim and his family, as well as the principal criminal and his family.
