Great Tang: Fine, I’ll Come Clean. I’m Your Father, Li Shimin

Qin Yuan wakes up to find that he has transmigrated to the Tang dynasty.

But after calculating the date, he realizes that the Turks are about to invade. With the coming Treaty of the Wei River in mind, Qin Yuan can only try to persuade his father, who comes home once every few months.

“Dad, the Turks are about to reach Chang'an. Let's run away together!”

His adoptive father is taken aback, then nods in agreement.

Qin Yuan grows potatoes and takes on the aristocratic clans.

Just as he thinks he's made ample preparations and is ready to flee, his adoptive father suddenly appears before him in imperial robes.

“My good son, no more pretending. I'll come clean: I'm your father, Li Shimin!”
