This is a surreal novel. This is the daily life of ordinary people. They are all from the bottom, and they are all ordinary. Isn't this the epitome of us ordinary people? Afan probably means ordinary, very ordinary. The people in the book have struggled all their lives for their houses. I had read "Diaoju" before and thought it was quite good, but after reading this book I realized that you and I will never meet the rich people who live in "Diaoju"!
