In her previous life, Cen Huan, the powerful and influential female head of the Censorate, met a gruesome end in a fire at the imperial palace. Reborn, she returns to the day ten years earlier when her family was massacred, only to be rescued by Lu Youlin, the man known as the White-Clad Chancellor. Seeing the enemy who had opposed her in her previous life, she decides to stay as far away from him as possible! But things don’t go as planned, and somehow she winds up tied to him inextricably... Rumor has it that Cen Huan is going to become empress. She doesn’t know what to make of it, but Chancellor Lu tells her he’ll help her do whatever she wants. Amid the political storms at court, Chancellor Lu is always quietly helping her, even while dragging his sickly body around, afraid she might suffer the slightest injustice. Cen Huan thinks something is off. “Chancellor Lu, men and women should keep their distance.” He smiles, gentle as jade. “The Cen family must have an heir to carry on its legacy. What do you think of me marrying into your family?” Cen Huan’s scalp prickles, and she makes a swift escape. She never imagined that just a year later, the young man from back then would not only build a prosperous age alongside her, but also bring ten miles of bridal gifts on the Lantern Festival and invite her to behold the splendor of the mortal world with him.
Don't watch it. It's not finished. I watched it all afternoon and I feel like I'm only halfway through the plot. I just finished it in a few words. Why did we get married in the end? How did we fall in love? This shit was not written. And why did Xiao Fu not like the heroine in this life? Why did he get married to the Miss Han family? I'm speechless. What a waste of my time.
The synopsis of the story is a bit novel, and the ending is hasty. Many parts of the text are illogical, and I don't know what to express. There are too many typos that affect my understanding of the plot. All in all, it's very tiring to read, and I can't understand many of them.
I'm really impressed by the unfinished building.
Direct ending, bad ending
