I have read two of the author's books back-to-back and they are both very interesting. It would be okay if the heroine's character is not too twisted in the end. In fact, I can understand the twist. It is just that the male protagonist would rather fake his death and never believed her from the beginning. He did not explain or discuss certain things with her in advance, which caused the heroine to fall into emotional pain to the point where she could not extricate herself. At the end, when the heroine strangles the hero's brother to death, she should understand the pain of the hero and his brother. They were just young when their relatives died. Anyone who is as old or as strong as the heroine will definitely take revenge on the spot. The heroine can't bear the death of her uncle, so the hero and his brother must not be able to bear it either. As the saying goes, you have to flip the pancake.
